Halloumi cheese is a purely Cypriot cheese, which has received P.D.O certification (Protected Designation of Origin), in 2021. Its particularity lies in its white colour, strong smell and rich taste.

The product has been loved by a large portion of consumers around the world and is ranked 5th in terms of demand compared to other cheese kinds.

“Praskitiko” packaged Fresh premium Halloumi Cheese, is a white and soft kind of cheese, which is prepared with traditional methods that we have been taught by our ancestors and passed on from generation to generation.

The handmade premium quality product, “originating” from 100% goat and sheep milk and the use of rennet of non-animal origin is also ideal for consumption by vegetarians.

This particular halloumi cheese type remains in brine for 24 hours before being packaged.

“Praskitiko” handmade premium Halloumi Cheese stands out for its white colour and soft texture. It’s an amazing choice for an appetizer and more.

It is placed in a plastic container filled with brine and can be kept fresh for up to 12 months, in a temperature of 0-6 °C.

The product is available in 1kg, 2kg and 3kg plastic containers or in 4kg, 8kg, 10kg and 20kg buckets.

Traditional Packaged Mature Halloumi Cheese

The handmade, premium quality, mature “Praskitiko” halloumi cheese is prepared following the tradition and techniques that have been used by the family for 4 generations.

Unlike the fresh, mature halloumi cheese has a pale-yellow colour and a hard texture.

It is made from 100% goat and sheep milk. It remains for 40-80 days in brine in order to mature and is then packed.

The product is available in variable weight packaging.

The handmade, premium, mature “Praskitiko” halloumi cheese is prepared following the tradition and techniques that have been used by the family for 4 generations. Mature halloumi cheese has a pale-yellow colour and a hard texture.

It is made from 100% goat and sheep milk. It remains for 40-60 days in brine to mature and is then placed in a plastic container filled with brine.

It can be kept for up to 12 months.

The product is also available in 1kg, 2kg and 3kg plastic containers.
