Halloumi Cheese fingers


  • 300 g fresh Constantinou halloumi cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 glass of flour
  • 1 cup of ground breadcrumbs with a little black pepper
  • 1/2 glass of fresh milk


Cut the fresh “Praskitiko” halloumi cheese into sticks and then flour them.

In a bowl, slightly beat the fresh milk with the egg using a fork to help you. Place a sufficient amount of breadcrumbs in a second bowl. Next, take a floured halloumi cheese stick and dip it in the bowl with the milk and egg, then roll it through the bowl with the breadcrumbs.

Finally, fry in a non-stick pan for 2 minutes or until golden brown.
