- 500 gr Konstantinou “Praskitiko” fresh trachana
- 500 ml water
- 300 g fresh Halloumi Cheese or mature Halloumi cut into cubes
Place water along with the 500 gr. fresh trachana in a saucepan and stir, on low heat, until the mixture becomes homogeneous. Then add the halloumi cheese and after simmering for about 10-15 minutes the soup is ready.
Optionally you can serve the soup with chili pepper flakes or croutons.
